Indian Railways: PM Modi flagged off 8 new trains, said- It happened for the first time in history

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 8 trains connecting the Statue of Unity, Kevadia to various parts of the country through Xvideo conferencing. Also, the Prime Minister inaugurated various railway projects in Gujarat.

On this occasion, PM Modi said that for the first time in the history of the railway, this is probably happening when together so many trains have been flagged for the same place from different corners of the country. Such is the place of Kevadia, its identity is from the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Patel, who gave the mantra of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. Kevadia rail connectivity is also going to change the lives of tribal siblings..

PM Modi also inaugurated Dabhoi-Chanchod gauge conversion, Chanodod-Kevadia gauge conversion through electrification of newly constructed Pratapnagar-Kevadia section and new buildings of Dabhoi, Chanodod and Kevadia stations through Xvideo conferencing.

Prime Minister remembered MG Ramachandran

Prime Minister Modi remembered and paid tribute to the late former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MG Ramachandran on his birth anniversary. He said that we are trying to fulfill the ideals of MGR. He said that today one of the trains leaving for Kevadia is also coming from Puraschi Talavar Dr. MG Ramachandran Central Railway Station. It is also a happy coincidence that today Bharat Ratna is also the birth anniversary of MG Ramachandran.

Chief Ministers of many states also gave the green signal

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal were also present at the inauguration of these railway related projects in Gujarat. Along with this, Chief Ministers of many states also made a presence through Xvideo conferencing. The PMO said in the statement that these railway stations have been equipped with local features and modern passenger amenities. Kevadia is the first station in the country to have a certificate of being a green building.

Train departs from these places

These eight trains will connect Kevadia to Varanasi, Dadar, Ahmedabad, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Rewa, Chennai and Pratapnagar. With this plan, the world’s largest statue Statue of Unity will also find a place on the map of Indian Railways. Also, by connecting Kevadia with the rail link, tourists will be able to reach here from all over the country without any trouble.

With the running of this train, people from other cities of North India including Delhi-NCR will be able to visit the Statue of Unity. Till now there was no direct train, people had to go by road after Vadodara. Officials said that as of now it will also run as a special train like other trains. Passengers will have to book tickets from the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited website or mobile app.

Sharing the picture, PM Modi wrote that other railway related projects will also be inaugurated during Sunday’s program. It includes new station buildings at Dabhoi, Chandod and Kevadia. You will be happy that Kevadia station is India’s first green building certification.
